Coming release: Hyperborea 2.2

After a long period of inactivity, the project is back with a release update planned for June. This newly updated release will provide:

• Six new languages: Basque, Bulgarian, Estonian, Slovenian, Thai and Vietnamese, which will raise our project to the magic number of 50 languages. :) Moreover, we expect a high translation score for Thai and Vietnamese since Amedeo and his team from Sao Mai center in Thailand and Vietnam joined our project several months ago to provide a version near perfection in these countries!
• A new volatile repository that provides nightly builds for translations from Transifex. This highly awaited feature, will give all our translators [1] the ability to spread their work to every running DoudouLinux the day after their translations are recorded on Transifex! This is fully automated, of course. :)
• Translation updates for many languages. If you want to help provide a correctly translated DoudouLinux for your country, come and help us on Transifex.
• Several localization issues were fixed (applications that do not start with the correct language or cannot display the characters of the language for instance).

This release will be named Hyperborea 2.2. The next step will be the preparation of DoudouLinux 3.0, based on the latest stable release of Debian Jessie, but probably not before the end of 2015. If you have an idea for a release name for this version, please share with us! It should be related to a place, in history or in famous imaginary stories.
