New releases out and to come

Our first development release based on Debian Squeeze is out [1]. It features many new applications but some of them will be removed in the future. It is available in English, French, Russian and Spanish only. This is an important step in our move to Squeeze and our port to ARM processors. It is also the preliminary step before starting the translation of the upgraded system, utilities and applications.

Additionally we plan to publish an official update of DoudouLinux 1.0 Gondwana for mid September. The main objective is to provide better translations – texts of course but also voice messages. We should then officially support 23 languages including the following new languages: Czech, Danish, German, Hungarian, Latvian, Malay, Portuguese (Pt ad Br) and Telugu, which is the official language of the state of Andhra Pradesh, India.
